Comments: I am sitting here watch "Male War Bride". Ann is adorable. I love her voice and her laugh and her acting. I love any movie she is in. Thank goodness for TCM and other venues that show her movies.

Comments: This the first guestbook I have ever signed, but I join in your admiration for this versatile, underrated star. She has always been one of my top ten favorites; I can't wait until there's a book about her. From what I gather, no one has ever had anything bad to say about her personally, so any biography would have to focus less on her temperament and more on her incredible legacy. I also wish someone would issue a cd of her recordings from her films. What a fantastic singer!

Comments: This is a very informative and well thought out site. It was a pleasure to go through and read all of the details surrounding Ms Sheridan's life. I new so little about her and this certainly helped to fill that void. It is also a fine tribute to Annie and I am sure that she would have been honored by its existence. In a way, it helps to permanently preserve her contribution to film history and showcase her obvious talent & beauty. As importantly, it confirmed for me the person I sensed behind the role she was playing - an honest, well grounded actor who did not let the glamor go to her head. A great tragedy she passed away so soon and that she was not given more "meatier" roles in film. Nonetheless, she excelled at what she was given and her body of work is a testament to that. Thanks so much for hosting & putting together this excellent site to share with us. Anne - you are not forgotten!
Admin reply: My pleasure Guy. Thanks for your kinds words about the site. I have a ton of more stuff about Ann that I will be adding when I can find the time - John

It helps me to come to terms with my Mom's death in 2008 and my Dad spending his last day's in a Nursing Home. They both loved the Big Band's and meet in 1946 04 1947 up at Buckeye Lake inwhich had Big Bands would play there.

Comments: Ann Sheridan, as she appeared in films, was the type of woman I would have liked to have as a good friend. A terrific actress, she was truly beautiful and warm. She died much too young.
