Ann Sheridan, as she appeared in films, was the type of woman I would have liked to have as a good friend. A terrific actress, she was truly beautiful and warm. She died much too young. :) :) :o

Hello, I am Ann Sheridan's great great nephew on my father's side. Was just curious when googling her and saw this site.

Thanks for hosting a site to remember the wonderfuland talented Ann Sheridan. Loved her in The Man Who Came to Dinner, George Washington Slept Here and so many other great films. A sparkling talent that was gone too soon.

There are so many things to say about the stunning, talented Miss Sheridan. I especially liked her deep voice. I still remember it from her TV series, "Pistols and Petticoats" and how sorry I felt when she died of cancer. I think she stole the picture in "The Man Who Came To Dinner" ( and this was a movie with Bette Davis as the female lead!).

Thanks for a great site for a beautiful lady of the silver screen and a real trooper that stood her place with some of Hollywood's leading males..just watching "Edge of Darkness" as I write this...love her and her movies.
Keep up the good work of keeping memories of REAL actors alive for the future world.jk

I guess I've always had a thing for Ann Sheridan. In addiction to being an incredibly talented actress, she's just adorable. I think she's the ideal American girl. Honestly, I don't know anybody who photographs as well in motion pictures. Her eyes, her smile, her figure. . . she's absolutely perfect. I never knew how young she was when she died (51, my age). What a tragic end to a charmed life. I just saw her tonight in "I Was A Male War Bride" with Cary Grant. She was terrific, and boy did she look good. To me, she'll always be beautiful.

on what would be the 95th birthday of ann, i spent it here at your truly beautiful site...what a tribute! it is only incomplete due to the absence of a clip from her
final effort- "pistols n petticoats".

universal tv has an untapped source of revenue in this classic series.they could easily dig out the color masters and sell them as weekend tv fare to a speciality channel in edited format, and then offer the 26 episodes unedited on dvd. i am certain that there is a market out there for a harmless, family, western comedy.

happy heavenly birthday, ann.
