She was my idol. I was only seven years old when I first saw her in a black and white movie. She was one of the most elegant and sophisticated actress. I always wanted to be able to wear those beautiful gowns and those beautiful furs and I did. I moved to NY and lived there for quite a while and Ann was always present in my life. She was a real lady with a very unique style. I will always think the world of you.

Rest in peace!

I LOVE HER SINCE I WAS TEN YEARS OLD. I saw many films from her in TV here in México.

Congratulations for this job in memory of the great Ann Sheridan.

So, good to see a website dedicated solely to this talented beautiful actress. Hoping a website such as this will bring the younger generation to recognize the talented and beautiful actors of yesteryear. Her legacy must live on and on. I can watch her movies over and over again. Just got through watching "Honeymoon for Three" for the second time. The scene where Charles Ruggles was teaching her to rhumba (?) and she was watching him with that cynical, guarded look in her eyes was absolutely enchanting. Never had I seen that expression anywhere else. I'm a young classic old movie fan and it's good to see others appreciating her and classic movies as much as I. I say thank you to all Ann's Fans!

Thanks for this wonderful site. I just finished watching Torrid Zone and started checking out Ann Sheridan's biography. There was a quality about her that was so unique. She always came across as no-nonsense, tough but very honest human being; a kind of person that you could trust. Beauty and character rolled into one person and great actress. Dear Ann you really did make a difference and left a treasure for many to enjoy in your several films.

Just watched "They drive by night". Forgot what a great movie it was. As mentioned many times before, Ann could hold her own on the screen with the best of them, including George Raft and Humphrey Bogart

A great actress and classy lady. Today's Hollywood cannot hold a candle to the great ones.

Screenwriters take note. You do not need CGI or any of types of special effects to make a great movie. Just great writing with great acting.

Wish this era will come back before I join Ann

I was a very young girl in England the first time I saw her about 60 years ago. I was so impressed by her -- just wish she could have had a longer career. She is still missed.

ANN'S 100TH BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY WILL BE THIS SATURDAY, 02/21/15 AND NO ONE ESPECIALLY TCM HAS MADE ANY EFFORT TO HONOR HER. THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG! ANN CONTRIBUTED MUCH DURING THE GOLDEN ERA IN HOLLYWOOD AND DESERVES TO BE HONORED!!!
