The lady's name is Ann Sheridan...

Ann Sheridan DrawingShe has one of the shapeliest figures in Hollywood. The studio that brought her to Hollywood used her only for inserts where hands or feet were to be shown on the screen.

She likes to give the impression that she is a tomboy.

Her favorite activities are cooking and embroidering...

She regularly goes on shopping tours and brings home several pairs of expensive shoes. She is always wearing cheap Mexican sandals...

To her pals she is the most loyal friend in the world. She never returns a phone call or sends them a thank you note for a favor...

The popular impression is that and has flamboyant tastes. Her favorite colors are black and white and most of her clothes are subdued shades...

She always laughs at hypochondriacs and claims she never worries about her health. She religiously drinks eight glasses of water everyday, because she was taught as a child that it's helpful...

She has been named one of the 10 best dressed women in America by group of fashion experts. Her favorite attire is slacks...

And as part Indian, part Scotch, and part Irish. At Warners recently, she has also been part-time...

Although she studied French in school for more than three years, she cannot speak that language it all.

She speaks Spanish, however, almost as fluently as she talks English. She never studied Spanish...

She's a shrewd card player and, in gin rummy, can remember every card that has been played. She can never remember people's names...

One of the Ann's pet extravagances is buying nightgowns. She always sleeps in the raw...

The girl "Oomph Girl" title was chiefly responsible for early success. If you want to see her go slightly daffy, just call her the "Oomph Girl" girl...

The Sheridan lassie has a tremendous appetite and is forever eating big meals. She never gains an ounce and never has to diet...

She spends plenty of time and money building up a large collection of phonograph records. Then she'll take one record she likes and play nothing else until a hole was worn through it by the needle...

She hates heat and refuses it in her home, even in the winter. To fry chicken, she'll stand over hot stove for hours...

She claims that her philosophy is to enjoy the present and not worry about the future, and she means exactly what she says. She pays a business manager to keep her on a rigid budget and put a large portion of her weekly checks into annuities and investments...
